Here is the story behind the Anthracite Radon name:

We owe a debt of gratitude to the coal miner from years ago. Those hard-working patriots spent long hours laboring in the cold, wet mines. We remember their dedication and hard work as compared to the comforts we enjoy today.

Coal miners also played another important role in our history which you may not be aware of...
Many miners died of lung cancer after working long hours underground, which provided valuable data for determining allowable radon exposure limits.

Our company name is dedicated to the memory of these miners.
